For contractors and owners
Building pads, footings, curb and gutter, sidewalks and slabs. We show up when the schedule says and work right behind the grading crew.
Commercial work →For homeowners
Driveways, patios, walkways, garage slabs, footings and block work, built with the same care as a commercial job.
Residential work →The part you never see is the part that lasts.
Any crew can make wet concrete look good for a day. What decides whether it is still flat and whole in twenty years happens before the truck shows up.
Subgrade
The ground under the slab gets cut to grade and compacted. Soft spots come out. Most cracked concrete started here.
Base
A compacted stone base goes down to the depth the job calls for, so the slab sits on something that drains and does not move.
Steel
Rebar or wire is set at the right height on chairs, inside the concrete where it does its work, not lying in the dirt.
Joints and cure
Control joints are cut at the right spacing so the slab cracks where we choose, then the concrete is cured, not left to bake.
Five steps, no surprises.
Walk the site
We come out, look at the ground, the access and the drainage, and listen to what you need.
Straight estimate
You get a clear written number for the work, with what is and is not included.
Prep and forms
Grade, base, forms and steel, checked before a truck is ever called.
Pour and finish
Placed, screeded, floated and finished by a crew that does this every day.
Clean up and walk through
The site is left clean and we walk the finished work with you.
What the crew handles.

Good questions to ask a concrete contractor.
Do you do commercial and residential work?
Yes. We pour for general contractors, site contractors and property owners on commercial jobs, and for homeowners on driveways, patios, walkways and slabs.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Rivera's Construction Group, LLC holds a North Carolina general contractor license, number L.108696, General Building classification.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Thomasville and work across the Triad: Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, Lexington, Kernersville, Asheboro and the towns around them. Bigger commercial jobs take us further.
How far out are you booking?
Good crews book up, especially in spring and fall. Call or send your project as early as you can, tell us your timeline, and we will tell you honestly when we can be there.
What should I send to get an estimate?
Where the job is, what you want poured or built, a rough size, and a few photos of the area. A text with photos is often the fastest way to start.
Does weather move a pour?
Sometimes. Concrete placed on wet or frozen ground, or in heavy rain, does not last. If the weather is wrong we move the pour and tell you right away rather than pour a slab that fails.
Have a pour coming up?
Tell us what you are building and where. We will come look at it and give you a straight number.
